How do I process a refund with Stripe?

Spiffy makes it easy to process a refund in Stripe. In the near future you will be able to do all of this directly within Spiffy, without having to hop over to your Stripe account.

Step 1: Locate the order in Spiffy

Find the order that you want to refund within your Spiffy account.
(You can find the order by viewing recent orders, or by searching for customer and viewing that customer's purchases.)


Step 2: Click the "View in Stripe" button, on the right of the order row.

The "View in Stripe" button will open that exact order in Stripe, making it super easy to process the refund. You're just two clicks away!

Step 3: Click "Refund" at the top right of the Payment record in Stripe.

The first section in your Stripe account should be the Payment record. On the right side of the payment record you will see the "Refund" button.

Step 4: Specify a reason for the refund for your records and click "Refund"

(If you want to submit a partial refund, you can change the amount in the "refund" field and submit a partial refund.)
