How do I process a partial refund?
Spiffy makes it easy to process a refund in Stripe. In the near future you will be able to do all of this directly within Spiffy, without having to hop over to your Stripe account.
Step 1: Locate the Order record in Spiffy
Find the order that you want to refund within your Spiffy account.
(You can find the order by viewing recent orders, or by searching for the customer and viewing that customer's purchases.)
Step 2: Click the "View in Stripe" option from the Order Record's settings menu.
The "View in Stripe" button will open that exact order in Stripe, making it super easy to process the refund. You're just two clicks away!
Step 3: Click "Refund" at the top right of the Payment record in Stripe.
The first section in your Stripe account should be the Payment record. On the right side of the payment record you will see the "Refund" button.
Note that this example purchase is for $1. We will be refunding a portion of this payment on the next step.
Step 4: Adjust the refund amount, specify a reason, and click "Refund"
You will see below that we adjusted the original purchase amount from $1 to $0.75 for this example.
