Discounts - How to Create, Edit and Modify
How to Create Discounts per Checkout
While in the editor, creating your checkout page, navigate to the Offer tab. At the bottom of this page is where you can create your discounts. You cannot edit discounts here in the checkout feed.
How to Create Discounts - Account Level
To create discounts per account rather than per checkout, you will need to click on your profile icon in the top corner of the Spiffy Dashboard. Here you can select Settings from the dropdown menu and then Discounts from the side menu. Then, click Create Discount.
Please note that you must then apply the discount to each individual checkout by going Checkouts -> Offer -> Use Existing.
How to Edit Discounts
To edit discounts, you will need to click on your profile icon in the top corner of the Spiffy Dashboard and select Settings from the dropdown menu. From there, select Discounts from the menu at the side.
Here you will see all of your discounts which you can click into and edit. (as shown above in How to Create Discounts - Account Level).
Coupon Code - defaulted all CAPS, this will be the discount code your customers enter to get their discount.
Choose what to discount - here you choose whether to select standard or subscription items - or both!
Percentage - percentage discount taken off the price.
Discount subscription items - number of months - this means actually the number of months. For example, if you have an annual subscription only, and you want to discount the first 2 years, the number of months would be 13 to cover that. You can also set this to forever.
Want this discount to expire? - here you can choose for the discount to expire after a number of uses or after a specific date.
Automation - You can set up global automation for your discount codes. When you set up automation for a discount code, the action will run ANY time the discount is used on any checkout that allows for the specific discount.
IMPORTANT: (Please note that you must then apply the discount to each individual checkout by going Checkouts -> Offer -> Use Existing.)
