Can I Receive A Notification When a Purchase is Made?
When a purchase is made on a Spiffy Checkout, you or your sales team may want to receive some sort of notification, letting you know about it!
While Spiffy doesn't handle notifications like this, this is easily done through a couple of options.
If you have an integrated system like 'ActiveCampaign' or Infusionsoft/Keap connected to Spiffy, you can set up internal notification emails in those systems via Automations or Campaigns, and then set your Spiffy Checkouts to trigger 'Purchase' integration actions so that when a customer places an order, this automation can run in your connected CRM.
Here are a few options that you can use to set up notification emails that send to your team when a purchase is made on a Spiffy Checkout:
1.) If you have ActiveCampaign integrated with your Spiffy account, you can set up a 'Purchase' integration action on your Spiffy Checkout to place the contact in an ActiveCampaign Automation that could handle sending internal notifications.
ActiveCampaign has an action to 'Send a Notification Email' that you can configure to send to yourself, or members on your team!
2.) If you have Infusionsoft or Keap integrated with your Spiffy account, you can set up a 'Purchase' integration action on your Spiffy Checkout to place the contact in a 'Campaign' that could be set up to deliver an an email to an internal team member.
NOTE: You will need to configure the Infusionsoft Campaign email to send to a specific email address, because by default, Infusionsoft campaign emails are set up to deliver to the 'Customer' email address. Be sure that you have a marketable contact in your system for the internal email address you are using if they aren't already a "User" in Infusionsoft, as Infusionsoft will skip delivering this email if it can't find one in the system
3.) Finally, Zapier is another great option for setting up something like this. With Zapier, you can create a 'Zap' that can use a number of services to notify you or your team of a purchase. Zapier can also include some basic order information. The options range from other CRMs, to tools like Slack!
Just set up a 'Zap' in Zapier, and then configure a 'Purchase' integration action on your Spiffy Checkout to trigger that 'Zap' when an order is placed!
