Changing The Price of a Subscription on a Checkout

If you have a checkout with a Subscription on it, and need to change the price of the Subscription, you will need just to create a new Subscription Plan.

A couple of things to note:

Old subscription plans will remain in the system for any customers that may continue on the old plan, as well as for retroactive reporting. After you create a new plan, you can change an existing customer's subscription plan via their order record.

If you create a new Subscription Plan on one checkout, it will be an available plan option to add/change to on any other checkout.

Getting Started

Navigate to the checkout editor of a checkout that has a subscription plan that needs to be updated. From within the Checkout Editor, hover over the 'Subscription' block, and click 'Edit Block'

In this example, we will be using a checkout with a $29/mo subscription, and we will update it to a $37/mo .

Next, just click on the current 'Subscription Plan' under your 'Subscription Options'

Click on dropdown that has your current 'Subscription Plan' listed, and select 'Create New'

From the 'Add New Plan' configuration, select your existing 'Subscription Product' in the 'Step 1' dropdown, and enter your new plan details in the 'Step 2' section (Ex: Monthly Plan, $37, Monthly)

Once you have entered your new plan details for your 'Subscription', click the 'Create' button and your new plan will be added to the checkout, as well as become an available option for other checkouts.

To finish, just click 'Save' at the top of the 'Subscription' configuration, and when you are ready, just 'Publish' your checkout to have your changes go live!
