LeadDyno Integration Overview

Known Issues: LeadDyno has known issues with their API causing tracking failures. Their team has informed us that this will be resolved in the future with no ETA

Spiffy can now directly integrate with your LeadDyno account to track affiliate sales, and record commissions. Once you connect LeadDyno, Spiffy will automatically send sales data to LeadDyno, and when a LeadDyno affiliate link is used, commissions will automatically be recorded for your affiliates, based on your LeadDyno commission program configuration.

You will need to set up a LeadDyno account to use this integration. If you do not have one, just head to https://www.LeadDyno.com to get started!

LeadDyno works through our direct integration that will track purchases, and when a referral link is used that contains your affiliate's url parameter, LeadDyno will automatically record commissions to your affiliate's record, when a purchase is made (Based on your LeadDyno configuration). 

This will work with Spiffy hosted checkout pages, as well as our embed and popup checkouts, right on your website, as Spiffy will automatically look for the LeadDyno affiliate URL parameter, when linking to your site's embedded/popup checkout page. Spiffy's installation code on your website is equipped to automatically capture URL parameters like this.

Connecting your LeadDyno account to Spiffy:

When connecting your LeadDyno Account to your Spiffy account, you will need your LeadDyno account 'Public Key' and 'Private Key'. These can be found in the Account Information section of your LeadDyno account settings ( https://app.leaddyno.com/settings/account).

In your Spiffy account, click on the 'Profile' icon and select 'Integrations'

From the 'Integrations' list, find and click on 'LeadDyno'

Next, just enter your 'Public Key' and 'Private Key' that you obtained from your LeadDyno account.

Just click 'Connect LeadDyno'. You should see an indicator message at the top of your screen, letting you know that you have successfully connected LeadDyno!

Marking Subscriptions, Line Items, and Upsells as Commissionable:

A big part of setting up your affiliate program is setting products to commissionable in Spiffy. In this section, we will show you how to set these products to be tracked for affiliate commissions.

Standard Checkout offers, and Upsells will be able to be set to commissionable from within your Spiffy Checkout editors, but Subscriptions will need to be set to commissionable in the account level 'Subscriptions' tab. 

After you enable commissions on a Checkout Item, Subscription, or Upsell, you will see an indicator, letting you know that this is enabled.

Here is a quick overview on marking your offers as commissionable

Setting Subscriptions to Commisionable:

From the Spiffy Dashboard, click on the 'Subscriptions' tab

Find and click on the Subscription product that you would like to mark as commisionable

Click on the 'Settings' icon in the Subscription dashboard and just tick the 'Is this product on commission?' checkbox and 'Save'.

Now, all plans for this subscription product will be set to commissionable. This will automatically update any checkouts that these subscription plans may be a part of. If you create any new plans for this specific subscription product, they will automatically be marked as commissionable, as well.

Setting Standard Checkout Items & Add-on Offer Bumps to Commissionable:

After setting up your checkout, click on the Order Summary in the editor

To the right of your standard offers, click the settings '. . .' and select 'Commission'. (This option will be available in the order summary, for your standard offers and add-on offer bumps)

Republish your checkout to save your changes

Setting an Upsell Item to Commissionable:

In the Upsell editor of your checkout, click to expand your Upsell product, in the sidebar.

Check the 'Is item on commission?' checkbox. 

Click 'Save' at the top of the settings sidebar.

Republish your checkout, so that the changes will take effect
